Samsung Galaxy S II To Get Android 4.0 Upgrade This Month

One of the most popular smartphones in Australia–Samsung’s Galaxy S2–is set to get Android 4.0 in 9 days time.

The upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich will bring speed and battery improvements and give owners access to the new Chrome browser that is blisteringly fast.

The leak was discovered on Samsung’s Israel Facebook page which said that the update will happen on March 15,

The update to the Galaxy S2 will come the same week that the Korean Company is set to launch their new Galaxy S3.

Israel has the same international version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 as Australia.
