Australian owners of the highly popular Samsung Galaxy S3 users have taken to online forums to complain of Bluetooth pairing and sluggish performance of their smartphones following a recent OS upgrade.According to several complaints the device isn’t successfully pairing with Bluetooth 4.0 or Smart Ready (BLE) apps and accessories, with the handset often not being recognised by the devices. Other users have complained of touch sensitivity issues and the device being slow to respond to commands.
Globally Samsung has not officially responded to the issue, despite a posting on behalf of Samsung in September from a user named Jakub Sendelwski (j.sendlewski@), who has confirmed that Samsung is looking into a fix for the Bluetooth and Smart Ready pairing problems.
“First of all, we are really sorry for the late answer. We are deeply considering providing BLE Scan API with our Bluetooth development team. We will reply answer soon and please check back this thread,” he posted.
As of yesterday all forums were still receiving posts regarding Bluetooth 4.0 and Smart Ready (BLE) pairing issues, Samsung hasn’t offered any more assistance in the matter.
