“The Galaxy S3 continues to be a runaway favourite with customers around the world,” said JK Shin, head of Samsung’s IT and mobile communications division.
The Galaxy S3 is Samsung’s flagship smartphone and accounts for the majority of their smartphone sales. In total, Samsung has sold 56.3 million smartphones between July to September, representing a 31.3% stake of the global smartphone market. According to the IDC, that’s more than twice Apple’s share.
