Samsung has confirmed that they are set to launch a new 55″ LED TV complete, with a wireless touch screen tablet remote that not only links with a TV, PC but a mobile phone.

Dubbed the “LED Couple” the new offering is a combination of a Full HD 1080p LED TV and a 802.11n touch screen remote.

The 7-inch tablet screen allows users to navigate between channels pull up content descriptions as well as access an electronic program guide to obtain information.

Apart from delivering  video previews of TV shows, movies and media stored on linked PC the device will also stream Blu ray content as well as the TV program to the tablet device so that users can take a short break without missing a program.
