Samsung has officially released a 43-inch version of its Frame TV in Australia, following an announcement at its 2018 Southeast Asia and Oceania Forum today.
The new 43-inch model will add to Samsung’s existing local Frame TV line up, comprised of 55-inch and 65-inch options.
Samsung’s 43-inch Frame TV was first unveiled at CES 2017, and nabbed a ‘Best of Innovation Award’.
All three Samsung Frame TV sizes are now available to purchase from Harvey Norman and David Jones:
- 43-inch: RRP $1,799
- 55-inch: RRP $2,799
- 65-inch: RRP $4,199
Just like its ‘older siblings’ the new 43-inch model will incorporate an ‘Art Mode’ – displaying several popular art pieces, when not in use of regular TV viewing. Owners can also choose artistic content of their choice.
Speaking to ChannelNews, Samsung revealed the company currently has an artistic library of 700 options, however, intends to increase that to 1,000 shortly.
Samsung’s range of Frame TVs automatically adjust TV brightness to match natural light levels in a room – thereby better resembling a regular framed piece of art.
In Australia, all Samsung Frame TVs will be interchangeable with frames in either; White, Beige Wood and Walnut:
- 43-inch: RRP $199
- 55-inch: RRP $299
- 65-inch: RRP $299
As announced at its Regional Forum today, Samsung states a new black frame will go to market shortly.
The product features an ability to interchange frames, therefore offering customisable flexibility.
Hass Mahdi, Head of Product AV Samsung Electronics Australia, affirms Frame TVs have seen resounding success in Australia, and the new 43″ size adds to their portfolio:
“Australia’s response to The Frame has been phenomenal and its success is a testament to the value of Samsung’s ongoing work to innovate with purpose”
“Ideal for the bedroom or kitchen, The Frame 43-inch gives Australians more options as to where in their home they enjoy the seamless partnering of a premium entertainment experience with stunning art and design”.
