Samsung Recalls Faulty TV Stands

Samsung has issued a product recall for its 55-inch television stand which may cause instability of some televisions on their stands.

According to the announcement posted on the Recalls website, the base of the television is affixed to the top of the Perspex stand by four screws and the neck of the stand is affixed to the base of the stand by way of a further six screws.

Cracks positioned around the location of the screws have appeared in some models, which may cause ‘potential instability of some television on their stands.’

The affected models are as follows: LA55B650T1FXXY, UA55B6000VFXXY, and UA55B7100WFXXY. Affected serial numbers can be seen on the chart below.
