Rumours for the next year’s Galaxy S10 are in full swing with news emerging, next year’s release will see three devices instead of two taking a dig at the upcoming iPhone launch.
According to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo the three devices will have different sized displays, 5.8-inches, 6.1-inches and 6.4 inches.
Apple is also reported to launch three devices, a 5.8-inch OLED, 6.1-inch LCD and 6.5 inch OLED.
Another key feature will be in the in-display fingerprint reader or ‘fingerprint on display’. The two larger models will have this feature with the smaller one to have a sensor on the side of the device.
Kuo notes Samsung will be ‘aggressively’ pushing this fingerprint on display feature which will reportedly be on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.
The S10 is also rumoured to have a notchless screen with a display covering the entire surface (pictured above).
Kuo is known for his accuracy on smartphone correctly reporting on Apple’s iPhone X having a OLED screen and notch.
He says Samsung will be shipping close to 40 million S10 devices next year with the majority being the larger two.
Samsung will be revealing its new Galaxy Note 9 at an event on August 9.
The S10 will be showcased at next year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February.
