Samsung’s new Galaxy S9 & S9+ smartphones have picked up Telstra’s ‘Blue Tick Certification’ for outstanding connectivity and reception in rural Australian areas.
Head of Telstra Mobile, Kevin Teoh, asserts network strength is reliant on the quality of devices, and Samsung’s S9/S9+ passed tests with “flying colours”:
“The Telstra Mobile Network is Australia’s largest, fastest and the most reliable, but the user experience is not just about the network it is also about the handset”
“For this reason, Telstra established Blue Tick certification to recommend products which have passed specific testing and which will, as a result, deliver superior voice coverage performance for our customers in regional and rural areas”
“We are happy to report that the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ both came through our extensive field and lab tests with flying colours and are duly awarded our Blue Tick certification”.
Currently, there are 20 other devices to have won Telstra’s ‘Blue Tick’ of approval. Samsung’s Galaxy S7, S8, S8+ and Note 8 are among the winners.
Consumers can purchase Samsung’s new S9/S9+ from March 16th via several Australian carriers and retailers.
