The first details for Samsung’s next tablet look to have been leaked, courtesy of a series of device renders posted online.
Called the Samsung Tab A, it’ll tout the same 10-inch display as the previous model.
Spec wise, it’s said to boast a Samsung-built 1.6GHz Exynos processor, 2GBs of RAM and a 7,300 mAh battery.
In accordance with this level of processing power, the Tab A will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow rather than the newly-released Nougat.
All told, it appears that there has been little improvement from the previous Tab A.
Beyond the specs, the biggest thing expected from the Tab A is support for Samsung’s new and improved S-Pen (which debuted with the Note7).
That support is expected to bring the Samsung’s suite of functions to the Tab A including Translate, Magnify and Glance.
Samsung haven’t spoken about local availability and pricing for the device as of yet.
However, given they branded their Gear S3 Launch at this year’s IFA as their last product launch for the year, early 2017 seems like a safe bet.
