Samsung, who is set to launch a new brand look at the 2013 CES Show in Las Vegas, has now started teasing the market with a video for what some are saying looks like a brand new Galaxy device. The teaser video released by Samsung overnight could be for the Galaxy S IV according to some observers; however, I suspect that there is a brand new product in the pipeline or Samsung is teasing the release of their new-look branding which is designed to project the company up against a slick looking Apple.
Recently Samsung expanded the use of the name Galaxy from their smartphone to a stunning new digital camera that houses a full Android operating system and a powerful 1.4GHz processor, so there is a possibility that the teaser video could relate to a totally new Galaxy branded product.
The video (shown below) promises viewers that “something new” will be revealed beginning January 8 through January 11 next year, the same dates for which the Consumer Electronics Show is scheduled.
The video is largely dark but its background appears to show an image of a Galaxy. It also shows dimmed images of Las Vegas, the site of CES. Beyond these two snippets, the teaser appears to give away nothing else.
