Samsung will reportedly debut new active noise cancelling (ANC) wired in-ear headphones with the Galaxy Note 10, following the trend of add-on gifts with flagship phones.
Earlier this year, Samsung offered free Galaxy Buds with pre-orders of the new Galaxy S10+, with Huawei offering a free Watch GT with its P30 Pro.
The news follows a tweet from WinFuture’s Roland Quandt, adding the headphones will connect via USB-C, not a 3.5mm jack.
He could not say whether the earphones will be AKG-branded – or if they will be included with the Galaxy Note 10, or sold separately as part of a special edition release.
Samsung already provides AKG-tuned earphones with its flagship smartphones.
Quandt claims the new EP-N5200 wireless charging pad made for the Note 10 will deliver 20W of charge, with a 9W wireless phone holder apparently in the works.
The Note 10 is set to launch in August during a Samsung Unpacked event at the Barclays Center in New York.
It is rumoured to have physical buttons for power and volume, no headphone jack, a bigger aspect ratio, a 6.66-inch display, a 4,300mAh battery, four rear cameras and a camera on the S-Pen.
