Samsung announced that it will be giving away a 3D Blu-ray player and two sets of rechargeable 3D glasses to consumers who purchase selected 3D TVs.

Starting this month, customers who purchase a selected Samsung 3D TV will be eligible to redeem a Bonus 3D bundle containing a Samsung 3D Blu-ray player and two sets of rechargeable 3D glasses, valued at $849.
In addition to this Bonus 3D bundle, customers are also eligible to receive a Bonus 3D TV starter kit, containing a 3D Blu-ray Disc of Monsters vs. Aliens and another two sets of battery powered 3D glasses.
This would mean that for $2,899, a family can enjoy a 40-inch Samsung LED 3D Series 7 TV, a 3D Blu-ray player, a 3D Blu-ray movie and four sets of 3D glasses.
Samsung’s Marketing Manager, Tony Brown said, “The countdown is underway to the World Cup and we anticipate many fans will be eager to upgrade their televisions to experience all the matches in the best way possible. Those in the market for a new TV will score big with Samsung’s new promotions.”
In addition, customers who purchase selected non-3D TVs can receive a bonus Blu-ray Home Theatre System, valued at $799.
