As the renowned IFA show nears, Samsung has capitalised on some of the hype by announcing its new 5 and 7 series all in one PCs.
We’re particularly keen on the series 7 because it borrows some charisma from Samsung’s smart TV. Its stand is signature ES8000 and its inclusion indicates this is a light all in one.
Samsung Series 7 |
The series 7 has a 27 inch touch screen with a 1920 by 1080 (Full HD) resolution. Inside is an i7 processor couple with 8GB of DDR3 RAM and a 1TB hard drive. If you don’t speak fluent tech, this PC features respectable hardware.
The 27 inch Series 7 has a US price tag of $1,699, but if you’re after something a little gentler on the wallet, we suggest your turn to the 23.6 inch variant. It features an Intel i5 processor, 6GB of DDR3 RAM and the same 1TB hard drive, but with a lower $1099 US price tag.
Samsung Series 5 |
Samsung has also unveiled an entry all in one PC under its series 5 range. This 21.5 inch all in one also features a 10 point, Full HD touch screen, but is powered by an introductory core i3 processor, has Intel HD Graphics 4000, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and a 500GB hard disk drive. This introductory model will have a starting price of $US749.
All of the aforementioned all-in-ones feature wireless keyboards and mice, DVD drives and will be released with touch friendly Windows 8 software. There launch will be timed to coincide with the release of Windows 8, which is due out on October 26th. We’ll update this article with local availability and pricing as more information becomes available.
