Sanyo has joined the ranks of companies releasing high-definition movie cameras.
The manufacturer has unveiled the VPC-HD1A, which records MPEG4 movies in 720p resolution.
It also features 10x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom, as well as digital stereo recording and noise reduction.
It also allows you to take simultaneous still photographs in HD, even whilst filming.
Other inclusions are a pop-up flash, which Sanyo claims offers double the brightness of conventional digital movie cameras and a docking station that connects to you TV, VCR, DVD recorder or PC.
