The Kensington Dual Monitor Adapter K33907 allows a user to hook up a secondary screen to your computer without the need for additional video ports or video cards. All you need is a working USB port and a spare monitor for instant desktop cloning or extension.

The Kensington Dual Monitor Adapter will automatically launch in your taskbar, allowing users to check for software/driver updates, adjust screen quality and resolution, rotate the screen (rotated left, rotated right, and inverted), change the monitor’s ‘position’ (right, left, above, below), or set the screen to clone, extend (DualView), or disable the device altogether. An advanced setting will allow users to go to the Windows Display settings.

The unit works fine in displaying images, presentations, and spreadsheets although it needs a fairly powerful system. According to Kensington, the adapter needs a PC with 1.2GHz Dual-Core CPU and 512MB of RAM (1GB if two screens will be attached).
If you want to work with two or more monitors, then Kensington’s Dual Monitor may just be the right computer accessory for you. It is available now with an RRP of $159.95.
