In a mix of nostalgia and cheesy marketing, Sennheiser has introduced an app to its Facebook page that lets users create and share virtual mix tapes.

The application gives users a five song list that they can create out of a catalogue of songs and share with Facebook friends.
While the audio might be better quality than an old cassette tape, songs only preview for 30 seconds and otherwise give the option of purchasing on iTunes.
The move is pushing Facebook users to ‘Like’ Sennheiser’s Facebook page as part of its social network marketing.
