Sharp has released a new slim micro system that boasts universal compatibility, and not just support for Apple products.
Although the new micro system features a top style dock for iPhones and iPods, it’s compatible with a flurry of devices thanks to a USB input, granting access to a range of files from mobiles, alternative music players and even a flash stick.
On the front are two sleek doors which reveal an on board CD player when opened. The vertically mounted CD player helps keep the player slim and looking sharp (pardon the embarrassing pun.)
50 watts of output power feed through a digital amplifier to produce high performance sound that is moderated thanks to its X-Bass function.
It’s available in black piano finish and Sharp claims the Micro system “can be positioned where conventional stereo systems will not fit.” There’s some merit to that, seeing its only 83mm deep.
The Sharp Slim Micro System is available from electronic retailers with a RRP of $279.
