Teac has added another addition to its iDevice docking family called the SR60iP.From the first glance it’s obvious this speaker dock is simple, but it is all the better for it.
As you’d imagine, your iPod/iPhone/iPad resides in the middle, appearing to levitate above a volume knob and a digital clock. Each side has a 25 watt amplifier, giving it a combined 50 watts.
Many docking systems offer their own menu for organising music: this doesn’t. It respects Apple and their music management. Its job is to output music and charge the device.
Don’t think it’s dim-witted though as it features an on board FM radio and an alarm clock. An auxiliary (3.5mm) input also ensures its sociable with other non-Apple devices, such as an Android phone or your everyday mp3 player.
The SR60iP will be available in May at a $199 recommended retail price.
