According to the company, the VPC-X1420 is a 14 megapixel camera that takes detailed images. It is 18.1mm deep, weighs 98g, and has a slim body which can easily be carried to be used anywhere. The camera also offers four times optical and digital zoom, smile and face detection technology, has a large 3.0 inch wide LCD screen that allows easy viewing even under direct sunlight.
The camera is also SDXC card compatible (up to 64GB), has a digital image stabilizer that corrects any camera shake when taking photos or recording a movie, and allows individual windows on a computer’s monitor display to be saved in the camera.
Finally, a variety of scene modes allow consumers to choose from a selection of preset settings specifically tailored to different shooting conditions such as wide angles for panoramic skyline pictures or sports modes for fast-moving subjects. An ISO of 1600 also allows excellent low-light photography, ideal for perfect pictures indoors.
The SANYO VPC-X1420 (Black or Red) will be available from Target this month for $199.
