The OQO next-gen mobile PC weighs just under 500g, making it the world’s smallest Windows Vista capable computer, the company says.
Showcased by Bill Gates at CES 07, the tiny model 02 PC is an upgrade on its predecessor, model 01+. San Francisco based OQO claims it is up to four times faster and its display is more than six time brighter than the old version.
The model 02 incorporates complete wireless connectivity – including EV-DO Wireless WAN, WiFi, and Bluetooth. It also features a 1.5GHz processor, 60GB hard disk drive and 1GB of RAM. It is available from $US1499. No word on local pricing and availability yet.
