The new Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse has a USB receiver that’s so small it fits almost flush against a notebook, meaning you don’t have to worry about it catching on something and unplugging when on the move.

Logitech’s Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, Marco Manera said, “More and more laptop users are abandoning the touch pad in favour of a cordless notebook mouse. However, with most notebook mice, the size of the receiver forces people to plug and unplug the receiver each time they use the laptop. Because we were able to make the nano-receiver so small, it can remain plugged into the laptop at all times so on-the-go notebook users save valuable time and never have to worry about where the receiver is.”
Protruding just 8mm from the edge of the computer, Logitech’s nano-receiver is nearly flush against the notebook. Because of this, users no longer have to worry about the receiver getting snagged or lost. Moreover, the VX Nano mouse features the MicroGear Precision Scroll Wheel that allows a user to scroll through long documents with a single flick of a finger. Logitech also claims that its One-Touch search button allows people to instantly display results from a search engine.
The VX Nano’s laser engine ensures precise tracking, while the 2.4 GHz digital cordless technology provides a robust wireless connection. The base of the VX Nano runs on two AAA batteries and comes with a storage compartment for the nano-reciever.
