Cooking functions and pre set menus, once selected, change from bright white illumination to orange before proceeding to offer further options and recommendations, including the correct shelf position.
The oven is designed to ensure optimum food flavour and texture plus the good performance in terms of energy conservation and ease of cleaning, says Smeg.
Thermoseal technology is designed to deliver fool-proof baking and grilling – temperatures are accurate and non-fluctuating and the oven is sealed so meats and fish remain succulent and pastries and cakes don’t suffer due to hot spots.
The Linear range also includes compact ovens – 45cm high – that combine a microwave oven with a convection oven or grill, or as a stand-alone multi-function unit. There is also a pyrolytic, self-cleaning version of the SCA112X.
