Snapchat have still yet to detail any sort of availability for their low-tech smart glasses Down Under but they have announced a new kind of Spectacles designed to be used underwater.
Developed via a partnership between Snap and Royal Caribbean Cruises, the SeaSeeker video and photo recording mask comes capable of capturing both photo and video content underwater at depths up to 150 feet.
On a single charge, it’s said to offer up to 30 minutes of continuous use.
Though not yet widely available, Snap have been working to promote the product by sharing footage taken with working prototypes of the smart accessory over Twitter.

Reports say that that the company hopes to roll them out to customers by the fall, assuming it can secures a patent for the custom scuba-mask.
Snapchat expanded availability of its Spectacles smart glasses to include Europe earlier this month but has yet to confirm when or if the product will make it to Australian shores.
