Fastest AF for interchangable lens camera unveiled
The new a6000 from Sony boasts the quickest AF performance of any interchangeable lens digital camera, snapping subjects into focus in 0.06 seconds.
The new interchangable cam also boasts continuous shooting at a 11fps with accurate tracking, 24.3 megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, BIONZ X processor,new OLED Tru-Finder with four double aspherical lenses, and built-in flash.
Its as small as a mirrorless camera and quicker than most professional DSLRs, Sony said announcing the new model globally, today.
“The new a6000 rivals even the best DSLRs in the market today in terms of performance, and does this in half of the size and weight at an extremely attractive price point,” said Neal Manowitz,Sony director of the alpha interchangeable lens camera division.
“It’s an ideal choice for photo enthusiasts eager to ‘go light’ and take their photography to the next level.”
Sony’s a6000 hits Australia from April. RRP for the single lens kit (including SELP1650 E-Mount APS-C lens) is $1,199.
The control dials on top of the camera and seven customisable buttons – including two dedicated custom buttons
It’s got Wi-Fi for one-touch connection to Xperia, or any (NFC-compatible) Android smartphone, tablets and VAIO PC.
The Smart Remote Control links the camera to fire the shutter and view photos on your mobile
There’s also three brand new apps Smooth Reflection; Liveview Grading; Trail along with oodles more PlayMemories Camera Apps.
