Appliances Online, which leads the sale of white goods sold online in Australia, says it is winning new business in droves due to a focussed approach on customer service, choosing features that are important to customers, and keeping its social networking hubs alive.
The company, which has built a name for itself by servicing more than 100,000 customers nationwide everyday with large appliances, says its commitment to next day delivery and providing a service to customers that “rivals big box retailers and outshines all other appliance stores online and off” has won it a reputation that is second to none.
The company is now branching into providing a full range of small appliances for the home, with its website, www.appliancesonline.com.au bringing new lines to the forefront with products from Delonghi, Saeco, Dyson, Morphy Richards, Whirlpool, Samsung, LG and Panasonic among others.
The Appliances Online website also features 3 dimensional views of many of their products along with detailed Buying Guides to assist customers to make the most informed decisions.
Linked to the company’s website are their social networks and blogs.
CEO John Winning has expressed that an effort will be made in 2011 to reach out via social media platforms and invite customer interaction on a more personable level through these portals.
The company set up a presence with Facebook in early 2010, which has grown to a community the size of a small army, with 94,600 members.
Dominic Favaloro, who looks after Performance Marketing at Appliances Online, said the Facebook Community are made up of members who want to keep up with what the company is doing, and offers plenty of support.
One of its customers wrote on its Facebook site: ” A lot of companies offer next day service, but don’t deliver. Not only did you live up to what you offered, but it was free. You are more than a cut above the rest. I’m so pleased to recommend you to all my Facebook friends too. I will be back for sure.”
Favaloro said the company will also be driving Twitter feeds this year.
