Wireless multi-room music specialist Sonos, has announced an entry-level ‘mixed’ bundle of its Sonos system, which allows you to stream music wirelessly into two rooms of your house.
The new Sonos Bundle (BU130) includes one ZonePlayer 80, which connects to your existing stereo or home theatre, one ZonePlayer 100, which can be connected to speakers and placed in any room, and one CR100 controller to enable you to control the music anywhere in your home. The company said it has launched the new bundle as a result of a survey, in which potential customers said they preferred a mixed bundle option to get started with Sonos.
“This new bundle is the best value for a music lover to enjoy music in two rooms and control it all from the palm of their hand,” said Sonos CEO John MacFarlane.
All previous Sonos bundles including the ZP100 and ZP80 Bundles will be discontinued.
The company also announced today a software upgrade, Sonos 2.2, is now available to its customers. The upgrade includes better music services support, more alarm clock choices, improved Internet radio reliability with automatic connection restart, FLAC album art support, and more, the company says.
