Sony has reveal a new pair of Bluetooth headphones that deliver a whopping 30-hour battery life.
They are among four new models announced by the Japanese Company overnight. It is not known when the new headphones will be shipped in Australia
The top-of-the-line over-ear MDR-ZX770BN feature 40mm drivers, active noise cancelling, AptX support and a battery life listed at 13 hours.
A cable is included for wired use should the battery die. They will be available next month in black or blue for a $229 suggested retail. The step-down MDR-ZX770BT ($149) also features 40mm drivers and AptX support, but it cannot be used as a wired model when the battery dies.

The battery life instead gets a bump to 17 hours. They will also be offered in black or blue. The MDR-ZX330BT brings the battery life even higher, to 30 hours, but drops the AptX support. These on-ear headphones have 30mm drivers.
The MDR-AS600BT earphones are designed for active sports users. They features include 9mm drivers; IPX4-rated water resistance; one-button control for play, pause, volume and track selection; and an 8.5-hour battery life.
They will come in black and orange, all of the headphones feature NFC technology for one-touch pairing, and all charge via MicroUSB.
They will not replace any older models, but instead will supplement Sony’s current offerings, the company said.
