Sony Computer Entertainment has slashed the price of the PlayStation2 in overseas markets to just US$99 however at this stage we have not received any notification of price cuts in Australia where the PS2 sells for $192. Nor have we received any announcements regarding the PS3 other than an official comment that there will be no price cuts for the struggling PS3 gaming console.
