Bluestream AV has appointed Sound Group Holding as the exclusive distributor of Bluestream AV products in New Zealand.
Sound Group Holdings distributes an array of global AV brands including Yamaha, Klipsh, Speakercraft and Epson and because the company has moved into custom installation solutions, it knows this market well for Bluestream AV products.
Mark Kruck, sales manager at Sound Holding, said: “Bluestream offers us an exciting opportunity within a rapidly growing market sector. The custom installation market is expanding in New Zealand and HDBaseT
distribution is a core product category.”
“It’s great that the extensive range of Bluestream products deliver advanced HDBaseT features including 4K integration, audio breakout and ARC, will enable us to establish the brand as a true market leader in New Zealand,” he added.
Bluestream AV has recently launched the first 20 products in its new range of HDMI and HDBaseT distribution solutions. HDBaseT technology has changed the market for AV distribution in the last three years because before there had not been a platform which can deliver HDMI, RS-232, IR, PoH (PoE), and LAN serving over a dedicated single CAT cable infrastructure. Distributing to lengths of up to 100 metres, HDBaseT products are now being specified as the backbone solution on many commercial and residential AV installations.
As an official HDBaseT adopter, Bluestream AV is at the forefront of this technology. Martyn Shirley, operations director at Bluestream AV commented: “Through innovative application of the HDBaseT chipset
our engineers have developed a comprehensive range of market leading solutions that utilise key new features of HDBaseT.”
“All of our products support 4K resolutions from the outset and we have also engineered audio breakout and ARC functionality into the majority of products. The integration of these key new features ensure we have a market leading product range from day one, coupled with a standard of service and support that will enhance the offering of our distribution partners throughout the globe,” he added.
