A previously unseen hour-long interview with the legendary CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs who died last year, is to be released in US cinemas next week.
The interview conducted by Robert Cringley in 1995 as part of the PBS miniseries Triumph of the Nerds, when Jobs was CEO of NEXT, which Apple later bought.
The video tape was uncovered in director Paul Sen’s garage.
The US rights to the “fascinating” footage was purchased by Magnolia Films, who are to release it in cinemas on May 11 and also on DVD and video-on-demand thereafter, according to Hollywood Reporter.
Parts of the “Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview” footage was previously shown on TV series aired in the US, but now cinema goers can now see the interview in its entirety.

Magnolia president Eamonn Bowles says The Lost Interview “is a fascinating document that will be enlightening and entertaining for anyone that’s interested in Jobs’ legacy.”

Jobs died in October after a long battle with pancreatic cancer aged 56.
