Sunbeam has won the No.1 GfK Award for 2009 in nine categories across the small appliance market.The company was number one in Irons, Electric Blankets, Fryware, Mixers, Food Processors, Blenders, Coffee Grinders, Mini Ovens and Novelty.
Sunbeam’s CEO, David Jackson, was happy with the results.
“We are thrilled with these results and they reinforce our leadership position in the small domestic appliance market. These awards are a reflection of Sunbeam’s mission to constantly provide new and innovative products to our consumers,” said Jackson.
To be eligible for an award, the brand must be in general distribution in the country to which the award relates and also be clear No.1 in unit sales for the January to December 2009 reporting period.
