Channel Ten’s MasterChef has teamed up with Sunbeam for the hit show’s second season.
The agreement will see Sunbeam appliances used across the show, including the Pressure Test and Invention Test segments in the MasterChef Kitchen. The contestants have had training sessions on the Sunbeam range to familiarise themselves with the appliances’ functionality.
Sunbeam CEO David Jackson said, “Sunbeam is thrilled to be involved with such a popular, relevant program which is engaging consumers by reinvigorating their love of cooking.”
Sunbeam appliances will also be used in the MasterChef house, where the contestants live during the competition.
Sunbeam will also be launching the ‘Dine with a MasterChef’ promotion, kicking off on 1 April. Five consumers will have the opportunity to win a two-night trip to Sydney with three friends to dine at the award-winning Becasse restaurant in Sydney, enjoying an eight-course degustation dinner hosted by executive chef Justin North.
This prize will be supported by a cashback promotion across 32 products.
MasterChef was the highest-rating show on TV last year, with an average of two million viewers per episode at its peak.
