Super-Thin LED TV From LG

US-based website Aving.net is reporting that LG is about to enter the market with a super-thin LED TV.

The LH95 is said to be only 24.8mm in depth, and also claims to deliver a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, which would give it the best black levels seen on an LCD screen.

LG has yet to state what size the screen will be, but guesstimates suggest it’s a 40-inch model. The site also says the unit has won CES 2009’s Innovation Award in the display category and the unit does support the manufacturer’s 240Hz TrueMotion Drive technology, which quadruples the frame rate to smooth out motion.
