First it was TVs now tablet shipments have tumbled 38.4 percent in the first quarter of 2012, compared with the record shipments of 28.2 million units shipped in Q4 2100. But they were up a “robust” 120 percent, from 7.9 million units in the first quarter of 2011, researcher IDC has reported.
