Following the launch of the Xperia X10, Sony Ericsson announced Vivaz – a new phone that takes videos in HD and uploads them to online sites via Wi-Fi.

The Vivaz comes with a dedicated video key that allow consumers to shoot video instantly. It also comes with a continuous auto focus function for the perfect shot every time. Users can then review video content in the standby panel, online via Wi-Fi, or on the 3.2 inch widescreen.
Sony Ericsson Vivaz also has the following features: HD video capture, easy access to social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, 8.1 megapixel camera, face and smile detection, and a Sony Ericsson Media Player.

According to Sony Ericsson, the Vivaz features the new design philosophy ‘human curvature’, first introduced with the Xperia X10, which will become a consistent feature of Sony Ericsson’s portfolio going forward.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz is now available in Australia in Silver, Blue, Black and Ruby for $799.
