Vodafone pounces on Samsung’s smartphone come tablet on Android 4.0, confirming it’s coming “soon”
However, the 5.3″ Samsung Galaxy Note, which has already been hailed as strictly a smartphone and definitely “not a tablet” by reviewers in the US, although it still got 5/6 stars rating, with the screen coming out for major praise.
The 4G ready ‘phablet’ (phone and tablet) comes with 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB with microSD memory card), and will run Android 4.0. It also comes with a stylus pen.

“The Samsung GALAXY Note is coming soon to Vodafone,” the telco confirmed via Twitter, although gives no hint of when “soon” will be.

According to Computerworld, the Galaxy Note is already on sale here in Oz, but “was a grey import ” model rather than a real mccoy Aussie version.
Samsung Australia’s previous soundings indicated Note would hit “in the first half” of the year.
