This comes hot on the heels of the major 2 for 1 notebook sale Harvey Norman instigated last week on on HP, Acer and Toshiba models or any brand carrying an AMD processor.
Although not quite the same ‘2 for 1’ deal, the retailer has slashed 10-15% off prices of several Core i5 machines including two HP Pavilion dv6 models – similar to the model Harvey was flogging last week, for around the $670 mark as well as high spec Asus U31 (INTEL GMA HD graphics, 2.66Gz processor, 10hour battery time) for $636 and Toshiba P750 series for $695.
The 15.6″ HP dv6-6041TX boasts 1GB GDDR5 video memory, Windows 7 Premium Home and fast as lightening response time with 2.3 GHz with turbo boost ( up to 2.9 GHz) is selling for a bargain of $692 and with free delivery.
Dick’s have also broken down the price barrier for Core i3 machines, selling a Toshiba Satellite C660/00J model for $399.
Whatever will Harvey say?
