Telstra are getting in Christmas spirit with new LG Optimus Android, which makes its Aussie debut this week. Designed as budget phone but with all the Google trimmings, Telstra say this will be a pre-pay winner for Christmas.

The 3.2″ HVGA (320 x 480) display Optimus Spirit (LG-P690F) Android 2.3 will be a pre-pay flagship suitable for teeny boppers with MP3 Player, FM radio, speakerphone with social networking tools galore for Facebook and Twitter addicts.
Featuring LG Social+, the Optimus Spirit houses the most popular social networking sites into one widget on the homescreen and also allows handy one-click photo sharing with multiple social media accounts.
It boasts a large 1500mAh battery and is fast with 800 MHz processor up to 32GB expandable memory via a MicroSD card, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi Hotspot for on the go. LG SmartShare function allows sharing of content with other DLNA-enabled devices.
The new Spirit will be available in black or silver colour variants.
With a single click, users can multitask between updating their status on Facebook and Twitter while reading their friends’ social media feeds on the one convenient screen.
