Telstra has announced new plans for the HTC HD7 Windows 7 phone which goes on sale today.
Australian consumers can purchase the phone on Telstra’s new Freedom Connect Plans including a $59 Freedom Connect Plan with a mobile repayment option of $17 per month.
It includes an MRO Bonus (for eligible customers), for 24 months (min cost is $1,824).
This plan enables $550 worth of eligible calls, unlimited standard national text and 1.5GB of data to use in Australia.
Meanwhile Telstra Business customers can purchase the HTC HD7 for $0 upfront on a new Telstra Business Mobile Maximiser $79 Plan over 24 months (min cost is $1,896).
This plan includes $800 worth of standard national calls and messages in Australia and 2GB of data to use in Australia.
The new HTC HD7 has a new “Super LCD” which according to HTC Executives fixes the screen issue encountered on the original HD7.
It also has a first-generation 1GHz Snapdragon processor, Wi-Fi Wireless-N, 576MB RAM, 16GB internal storage, as well as a 1230 mAh battery.
And it has a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 720p HD video recording and a camera button.
As part of the Windows Phone 7 OS, users get unique camera experience, with the seamless integration of the camera’s viewfinder and photo/video gallery.
