Telstra who has moved to expand their house brand 4G and 3G smartphones made by Chinese Company ZTE, could be the beneficiary of a brand new 5″ device that has been described as “the world’s thinnest 5 inch FHD smartphone.”Set to be launched at the 2013 CES Show in Las Vegas in January, the ZTE Grand S which went by the code name “Apache”, is made of ceramic and will feature what has been described as a “traditional Chinese style.” The Company is set to pitch the device up against the Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung’s Galaxy S3.
Analysts are still trying to work out what “Chinese style” means.
The official CES 2013 website reveals that the ZTE Grand S smartphone is set to be the firm’s flagship device. It will have a 1080p HD resolution display, 13 megapixel camera and support for LTE/4G networks.
Recently Telstra launched several ZTE manufactured products including the Telstra 850, Telstra EasyTouch T82 and Telstra T100.
