Telstra has boosted the value for money of its wireless broadband plans, offering higher data allowances for less, with no additional usage charges.
The new wireless broadband plans, which will commence on 18 January 2010, will double the monthly data allowance on the entry level plan to 400 MB for no additional charge.
A new 3 GB plan and a new 6 GB plan, for users with moderate to heavy usage. Additionally, wireless broadband customers who sign up for a 24-month plan will receive a rebate of up to $299 for their new USB or $200 for a wireless gateway.
Customers who also have a Telstra home phone will save $10 per month if they combine it on a single bill with their 24-month wireless broadband plan. For customers who have multiple Telstra products, Telstra will offer an additional $10 per month off, making a total monthly saving of $20.
“Many Australians use wireless broadband as an addition to their home broadband service, allowing them the convenience of being connected to both the home and office while out and about or when travelling. It is also a popular choice for those living in areas with Next G coverage who may not have access to ADSL or Cable Broadband,” said Acting Group Managing Director, Telstra Consumer Glenice Maclellan.
“These new broadband plans represent exceptional value, giving Australian broadband users more data and no additional usage charges together with Telstra’s unmatched combination of coverage, speed and unmetered content,” she said
