Telstra has added six new Next G phones to its range, with the company promising that there will be something for everyone. The new arrivals include the world-first LG Windows Mobile phone, two Walkmans from Sony Ericsson, and an HTC smartphone.

“From cutting-edge entertainment handsets, mobiles with advanced business functions through to mobiles that can be highly personalised, offer high-speed mobile web browsing or deliver superior handheld regional coverage, there is something to suit everyone’s needs in our latest offering,” says Fielding.
The LG Xenon features a 2.8-inch touch screen as well as a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out for easy text input. It also sports a 2 megapixel camera with flash and video recording, and comes with 80MB of memory that is expandable up to 16GB. The LG Xenon comes in two colours – Black and Blue Jean and will be available from July 28 on a $40 plan over 24 months or $589 outright.

HTC Touch Pro2 |
Sony Ericsson W995 comes bundled with high-quality headphones and 8GB of storage. It also comes with an 8.1 megapixel camera and flash, a Track ID application that identifies music, and utilises Telstra’s TelstraOne Interface. It will be available from July 28 on a $100 plan over 24 months or for $1199 outright.

The last phone on display was LG’s Viewty Smart – an 8-megapixel phone that comes with dedicated camera functions. It is HSDPA-enabled, comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, video calling, FM radio, voice recorder, DivX and XviD video playback support, proximity and accelerometer, and video recording. The LG Viewty Smart is available from July 14 on an $80 plan over 24 months or $979 outright.
