Telstra is to double the rate it charges for customers to listen totheir mobile phone messages.
Telstra spokesman Peter Taylor said in an ABC Online report that listening to a mobile phone message will soon cost 60 cents a minute.
“At the moment it costs 14 cents per 30 seconds to listen to voicemails. From late December it’s going to cost 30 cents per 30 seconds to listen to
voicemail,” he said. “But at the same time, Telstra is going to stop charging customers for people to leave message on their machine.”
