The upcoming Apple iPhone 16 range is tipped to launch in September this year. However, new reports suggest the iPhone 16 Pro’s screen could be unveiled in August.
This is due to Samsung Display reportedly supplying the same M14 OLED screen technology to Google’s Pixel 9.
On August 13, Google will hold a surprise event, where the Pixel 9 device is expected to be announced.
According to Etnews, the only Apple devices to come with the M14 OLED technology are the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max.
It’s claimed to provide super brightness and better efficiency, due to its blue phosphorescence technology, which could result in an improved battery life.
The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are expected to be equipped with the same M12 OLED screen seen on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to come with larger screens, compared with the current models on the market.
The 16 Pro is tipped to climb to 6.3-inches, whereas the Pro Max is expected to measure 6.9-inches. This means both devices have increased by 0.2-inches.
