Of all the PC games released this year, which one was pirated most around the world? Turns out it is Spore, says games site TorrentFreak.According to the site, the much-anticipated Will Wright game was pirated no less than 500,000 times in the first 10 days of its release. That figure is now said to be in excess of 1.7 million copies, but EA find the figures might be a little high. Company spokesperson Mariam Sugahayer suggested that a number of those downloads contained viruses, had other bugs or were incomplete.
So what other games were downloaded at massive rates this year? Below is the Top 10 PC games downloaded on BitTorrent in 2008, with an estimated count for each.
