Fujifilm has added two new cameras to its FinePix range. The FinePix J27 and FinePix J30 are both 20mm thin and boast a 2.7-inch screen, 3x optical zoom, Face Detection, and movie recording.

The FinePix J27 comes with a 10-megapixel sensor, while the FinePix J30 features a 12-megapixel sensor and comes with a Panorama Mode which stitches three consecutive shots together to produce one panoramic photograph.

Both cameras come with Scene Recognition Auto that detects a scene such as Landscape, Macro, Portrait, Night, Night Portrait and Backlit Portrait automatically, Face Detection technology which can identify all faces in a frame, and Picture Stabilisation Mode which ensures image blur is kept to a minimum. In addition, the cameras comes with an ISO sensitivity up to 3200 (at 3MP), allowing users to capture images without using the flash.

Fujifilm’s Senior Category Manager for Consumer & Professional Products, Matt Dole said, “The stylish camera design combined with an impressive range of functions provides a premium quality package that offers great value.”

The Fujifilm FinePix J27 is available in Black, Silver and Pink and has a recommended retail price of $199 while the Fujifilm FinePix J30 is available in Black and Silver and has a recommended retail price of $219.
