Tile has integrated Google Assistant and Alexa into its community-powered finding platform, allowing users to sync their accounts with their digital assistant to make finding misplaced items easier.
The new smart home integration will be introduced in the next-gen Tile Mate and Tile Pro Bluetooth trackers.
The Mate is, according to Tile, a “versatile and lightweight” finder that can be attached to any item, while the Pro promises “better durability and performance” and is best suited to larger items.
“Millions of users already trust us to safeguard their belongings and find misplaced items,” said CJ Prober, Tile CEO.
“However, this feature enables us to dramatically improve Tile functionality in the home.”
“Smart Home integration provides Tile the opportunity to solve a major pain point for users who are always on the go.”
The Tile Mate and Pro can be purchased from good Australian retailers, including JB Hi-Fi, Good Guys, Harvey Norman or Officeworks.
