However, the Easy Reach deal, on ADSL2+ is available only when bundled with Nodeline telephone service, which also costs $29 (normally $59), which represents “great value,” says Internode.
When bundled, Easy Reach 30 Special offers the same value and price as its Easy Broadband XS – but is more widely available.
As with other Easy Reach plans, the 30GB data quota counts both uploads and downloads but customers can upgrade their service with a Power Pack ($10 extra per month) or Business Pack ($30) to gain access to features such as static IP addresses and download-only quotas.
This comes as just yesterday Telstra announced dramatic increases in its broadband data allowances, with 25GB now jumping to 100GB allowance at no additional cost.

However, the Easy bundle is available mainly from metropolitan-area telephone exchanges so the service may not be received be in some regional areas.
However, to check if the plan is available in your area, Internode have a Broadband Coverage Checker on its website.
“Because this plan is not available from every exchange, we are encouraging people to use the coverage checker on the Internode home page to find out if this new plan can be delivered in their area,” it said today.
“This launch extends the availability of our best value ADSL2+ offering,” says Internode product manager Jim Kellett and “is great news for any customers still on first-generation broadband plans, using 256 kilobyte per second (k) or 512k services.”
