Bluesound one of the hot new wireless audio products to be launched this year has already undergone a significant upgrade.
The Canadian Company is enabling the Vault music server in its wireless multizone audio system to download and pay for high-resolution music files direct from HDTracks.
Consumers previously had to downloaded high-res files to a PC;s hard drive, then manually drag and drop them into the Vault from the desktop.
In other updates to its BluOS operating system, the company added music-streaming service Murfie to the list of streaming services accessed by its wireless audio system, the Company has also updated support for local library playlists, folder browsing, and cross-browsing for particular tracks between local libraries and music services.
Murfie support lets users browse Murfie’s vinyl and CD inventory of 500,000 new and used albums and stream songs from a user’s personal Murfie collection of vinyl and CDs stored in the cloud. Bluesound users can upgrade their Bluesound Players to BluOS firmware version 1.12.0 or higher.
