Toshiba has released its refreshed notebook with built-in HD DVD drive.
The G30 is spearheading Toshiba’s new-look notebook range, which has been refreshed in preparation for the launch of Windows Vista.
Every notebook in the range now incorporates the Intel Core2 Duo processor, which has been optimised for the Vista operating system.
The range includes entry-level desktop replacement notebooks as well as high-end gaming notebooks.
The Satellite P100 is intended for gamers, and comes in two models: one with the Intel Core2 Duo T550 ($2799) and one with the T7200 ($3799). Both feature a 17-inch widescreen.
For desktop replacements, there is the Satellite A100 and the Satellite M110 ranges, with prices starting at $1499.
Finally, the Qosmio F30 is also an entertainment unit, priced at either $2999 for the T550 version or $3699 for the T5600 version.
